Stacy is the Director of Apple Tree Music Together and a registered Music Together® Teacher. Stacy's musical background includes singing as a young adult with the Treble Chorus of New England for five years. She was also a member of the University of Massachusetts Lowell Choral Union, the St. Francis Parish choir in Dracut, MA, the Merrimack Valley Philharmonic Choir and the Combined Choir of St. Francis and St. Michael (Lowell). Stacy began attending Music Together classes as a participant three years ago when her daughter, Sophie, was six months old. Because she was so wholeheartedly impressed with the program and the Music Together philosophy, she began the process of becoming a registered Music Together instructor two and a half years ago. She has been teaching the classes since March of 2005. In June of 2007 she took over the program when the original owner decided to move to a new career. Her greatest joy in teaching Music Together is seeing families come together with the common bond of music, having fun and learning together. Every semester she looks forward to working with old friends and meeting new families as Apple Tree Music Together continues to grow! She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell as well as having attended graduate courses at Wheelock College with a concentration in Special Education. Stacy is a certified LEAD Preschool teacher and has been teaching preschoolers for fifteen years. She has more than ten years of specific experience working with children with special needs. Stacy is originally from North Reading. She currently lives in Tewksbury with her husband of seven years, Scott, her daughter Sophie, and their cat, Mr. Friendly.
